    Clover in the Yard

I've been fighting this battle for years and never seem to make headway.
Any suggestions on a herbicide that will not impact Bermuda?

2, 4-D Amine in a hose end sprayer seems to do the trick for me.

        Metsulfuron (Cimarron) works well too.

I thought MSMA was mostly broadleaf and 2,4D was more for nutsedge, crabgrass other weeds not broadleaf. Guess now I know why I killed part of my carpet grass this year. LOL. But there aint a weed in sight. I double sprayed everything, first with MSMA then next day 2,4D.

                  Other way around.

24d for weeds. MSMA is for seliective grasses. Crab Grass etc.

Not to be confused with MSM or metslufron totally different chemicals.

IMO MSMA is best used in the dead heat of summer.

MSM/ cimmaron/ ally /chapparal etc can be used now. Mainly used for killing Bahai in our area. Great for killing little vetches etc and stuff in yards this time of year.

I wait until it gets about 95 degrees and watch it burn up!

If it is up (germinated) 24D, but you can get way ahead of it by noting when you first see it and back up next year about 6-8 weeks and put down a good per-emergant such as Barricade or similar to take out the seeds (and a lot of other weeds such as dandelion, thistle and a lot of other Spring weeds as well) before they germinate. Do it again in the Fall to knock our the Fall/cool weather weeds too...

This is what I have been using with good success. Pretty good price on amazon too. I mix it @ 1.5 oz. per gallon / per 1000sq. ft. Use a surfactant for better results.
