Not so free - SW AR 15-22

Had enough Cabela's points to pick up a "free" SW AR 15-22. I bought one for my son a while back and I figured I would join him in the fun. Eventually give it to my daughter when she gets older.

Anyone have any experience with one?

I have one... they are a lot of fun and a lot more accurate that I thought it would be. I topped mine with a cheap red dot style optic.

Love mine, and so do the kiddos.

Have a red dot and a suppressor for it. I shoot the CCI 1,050 FPS ammo and it cycles well.

Yep, got a lupe' fixed 4x on it and it's a starling's worst nightmare... bad juju on cottontails...
Like everyone else that has posted, fun to burn up ammo in too... Back before we couldn't get ammo at reasonable prices, I used to burn up some ammo in mine with friends... Had a drum magazine for it... added a timney trigger and used a friend's bump stock... talk about fun!! Those were some fun times... probably never see that again, not just for nun anyway...
