Curious about duck hunting Lake Murvaul & B.A. Steinhagen

Retired, bought a boat that will handle skinny water and am now looking at expanding into duck hunting after a 45 year coma. My research has gotten me to looking at these 2 lakes for learning on.
    Any suggestions from the pros?

Wear a bullet proof vest on murvaul. The barnies ruined it for hinting years ago. It gets no rest and sky blasted every sat/sun of the season.

    No help on the other

Fact. My wife's uncle has a sizable place on Murvaul that holds some backwater occasionally. We will hunt that, but won't get out on the public shoreline/water unless it's a weekday. Bunch of **** yayhoos.

Dam B is not nothing like it use to be. I'd find another place to look

I thought Dam B was drawn low right now. Is this correct?

They're filling it back up. Its hit or miss last couple years. Divers get thick though.
