    Sons 13th B-Day

I brought my son and 4 friends up to our land in Sabine County. We spent the morning in the barn blind with no luck and then went out to still hunt. We had a little more action as we saw 6 does but no shots at any mature ones. I’m so very thankful for him having good friends, we changed schools this year and I was apprehensive on how he would fit in. Today we are up here with his 2 best friends from his old school and 2 from his new. They are wearing out the 22’s now in preparation for what we hope is an eventful evening of harvesting some wildlife!

I've lived in houses smaller than that blind!

                      Happy birthday!

Yeah it’s a “bit” large. We wanted something super comfy with plenty of room for kids. You access it from inside the barn and the bathroom/storage area is underneath it so we just made the blind the same size. It will get insulated and covered with paneling and shooting shelves all the way around. Planning to build a flip up shooting bench for sighting in and longer shots.
