Wife wanted a new dining room table, so I built one from recycled semi flooring. I think it turned out alright. Bought legs from home depot and cut them down to the height she wanted. Heck of a lot cheaper than what she was finding.

I have a buddy that works for a company that rebuilds semi trailers. There are a few suppliers in the OKC area, but they want $10-12 a linear foot. Got mine for a case of beer.

Wow! Great project, and awesome hook-up for the wood! With this being flooring from a shipping environment, did you have clean/sanitize/seal to ensure no nasty stuff comes through?
