We went to my girlfriends house in Bandera for fathers day weekend. Her grandfather used to live right next to her parents but the house has been empty since he died in the 90's. They finally tore down the house a month or so ago and found these in a closet in one of the rooms. Her dad said that the grandfather shot it some time back in the early 60's. He thinks it was in NM somewhere. I was amazed... Going to take a real camera up there and some tape next time and see what it scored. I thought it was a pretty neat find, they probably haven't been seen in 30 some years..

Nice find. Awesome set of horns! They look to be in good shape from the picture, if so try to find a mule deer cape for a shoulder mount. That would look great on the wall.Comment
