WHO is MAKING / SELLING - TX MADE SUPRESSORS ?

Sept 1

Texans can buy a TX made supressor without filing the ATF paperwork and Paying a TAX STAMP

BUT———
Who is actually RAMPING UP to build and sell these ?
I see no one when I search this.

Anyone seen or heard of anyone that is planning to actually do this ?

I believe this is the main sticking part of that law that supposedly goes into affect on September 1….. and from my reading, it does not. This is copied directly from the new law.

Sec. 2.054. ATTORNEY GENERAL. On written notification to the attorney general by a United States citizen who resides in this state of the citizen's intent to manufacture a firearm suppressor to which Section 2.052 applies, the attorney general shall seek a declaratory judgment from a federal district court in this state that Section 2.052 is consistent with the United States Constitution.

It appears to me that this section of the law says it on September 1 or afterwards, a manufacturer can apply to the Texas Attorney General to manufacture a suppressor around a federal law. Before the law can go into effect, the Texas Attorney General “shall” (mandatory) go to a federal court and get a ruling the new law complies with the Constitution of the United States. That to me is, the NFA and The constitutionality of that federal law, going back prior Supreme Court decisions.

Even assuming that this would eventually pass the federal courts (highly doubtful), I think the idea that you can run out on September 1 and buy a lawful suppressor in Texas simply won’t happen. The new law has a process written into it and that process likely will not begin until September 1. I see no problem with a manufacture merely applying to the Texas Attorney General.

TX BOWHUNTER has become full of CLOWNS.

Did I care to - No
I just made a post and asked

The one thing that made TXB different was the people.
I see a bunch of smucks
- commenting w useless words when they could just move on….

All I did was pick the brains of a group that I THOUGHT could give quality feedback because a guy a work asked me and figured you guys would have solid info.
