You should get the short limbs no matter which length riser you go with.

      why would you suggest that?

is there a benefit to the short limbs?

I believe he is saying this because you have a short 26.5”DL, and as such, you would get more efficiency from the short limbs.

            Gotcha.

The written text sounded confrontation but I was asking a serious question.

I’ve heard shorter limbs were less forgiving but I would assume because of my draw length this might be negated

26.5" DL is normal. It's those tall and lanky fellas who are abnormal. [emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23]

Bear makes some nice bows. But a Bob Lee is awesome!

The the short limbs will be the only ILF choice to get any performance with a 26.5" draw. The medium ILF limbs will not come close to reaching full potential at 26.5".

I don't know if there are any draw force curve graphs available for ILF (I doubt it due to the various risers). There used to be a fellow at Lancaster's that suggested 28-30" draw length needed to use medium ILF limbs no matter the riser, which was his simple answer.

The great thing about ILF limbs there are usually plenty to pick up used. Good luck
