Just a Dandy of a Knife

Damascus blade and dyed and stabilized Axis antler scales with blue liners. 6 1/4" overall.
Mosaic pins to top things off.
Every now and then I make one that I really like. This is one of those knives. After I make a sheath and sharpen it I'll probably stick in the classifieds but it won't hurt my feelings if it doesn't get claimed and has to stay here with me.

After I have cut and flattened the scales I add blue dye to the stabilizing solution. These colors go all the way through the scales. Antler and bone density varies throughout so that accounts for the different shades of color you get out of them. No two will be the same.

Mike, how do you get such a pretty finish on the stabilized axis? I have a similar knife I am working on and I'm not sure of the best way to finish it.
