Hey guys, new to the forum and also a fairly new land owner! Found a east Texas monster walking around out there. Any idea on age of this deer? Ballpark score would be cool also!

so night pics are hard to judge........ I am leaning score between maybe 130-140 and age I will say 3.5. maybe 4.5 in that one pic where you can really see how big his body is. nice looking deer either way though.

Welcome to the fire and that is a heck of a deer! I'd age that deer between 3 and 4 with a rough score of 130-140". Good luck this season if you decide to pursue him!!

I think he is fully mature. Got a lot going for him. I have him mid 40s. Very similar to a deer I had on camera near Kennard last year.

Based on his body size I’d say he’s old. Hard to tell though. Probably low 40’s high 30’s. His 2’s and 3’s May cost you the 40 mark

My initial thoughts are he's 5 and high 30's low 40's. But I could be completely wrong. It's so hard to judge by trail cam pics sometimes.

Yeah he’s an incredible deer. I hope I get a chance at him this season. Daughter named him Carster, h have no idea where that came from. She asks about him everyday and says she can’t wait to eat him!
