Bow buck down - old mexico

Not one of those typical big old Mexico bucks, but we had seen him since 2019 and he never really progressed muched, so this year at 6.5 he was on the list.

My first sit lasted about 45 mins and he was in the road at 25 yards. As I drew, he heard me and spun looking my direction. I felt I could make the shot, and I drilled him. I wouldn’t advise a frontal chest shot, but the 2” grim reaper destroyed him leaving a 30 yard blood road to where he fell. Scored right at 140” and like I said we had him at 6.5

I can’t recommend the grim reaper 2” WT specials enough. They really do some damage

He’s a trophy for me, but we don’t have one of those typical big buck mexico leases. He really didn’t make much jump from 4.5 to 6.5 over these past two seasons. Our place is a 140s, with a low 150 being killed each of last two years type of place. It’s not one of those 180” Laredo mexico leases. I’ve learned in my going on 4 years in mexico, it’s like Texas, location matters.
