Wasn’t having much luck on Texas public land this year, so did a quick weekend trip out of state to one that doesn’t currently have a shed closer, and found a little elk shed.

Dang that’s awesome, I haven’t found a single shed yet in Seminole.

I haven’t had as much luck this year as usual, even though I was seeing more racked bucks late in the season than normal. I’ve found a few good ones, but at the end of the day, free ranging sheds are just tough to find when you have a lot of vegetation!
