DIY New Mexico Gila part 2?

Ok guys.. I know alot of you remember the hunt I did in 2017 where I killed literally a once in a lifetime DIY public land bull in the Gila the year my mom died.. Here is the thread.. It still gives me chills to read the in reach message to James saying "I killed a giant this morning." I remember barely even being able to txt that lol..

Well my Gila saga continues this year in such a strange way?? This is the first year since 2017 that I applied for NM.. On monday April 19 this year, my Nana passed away.. Two days before the New Mexico draw results were posted.. And you guessed it.. I drew the same exact horrible odds elk tag in the famous NM Gila that I did in 2017.. The weirdest thing about it is after she passed away there was no doubt in my mind I was going to have that tag this year.. It was weird.. Alot of the people on here that I have shot 3d with for a long time surely know my Nana. I 100% wouldn't be half the person I am today without her. She honestly was as influential in my life as my mom.




It is really weird. That said I know it is meant to be and I also know I am going to go do everything I can to kill another good bull.
