That's money but lots of fun and satisfaction. Very cool.

Very nice. Going to be an incredible first gen when finished.

I think these will be my next set of tires. I’ve seen good reviews.

Hit another milestone on the build. Will have the headers and front drive ordered in the next week or so. Plan is to have the engine/trans/subframe as assembled as I can and then attach to the car. $low progress.

Nice pieces your using. If car still has leaf spring in the rear before you upgrade take a close look at forward spring mounts. Drag racing and time can cause them to loose integrity. Neat project.

Exact powertrain I want to eventually put in my 70 Nova. Having a 2 year old has put the e-brake on my car parts budget though. Those engines are bad to the bone.

Awesome build. Take your time - we'll all be watching.

I may have missed it? What exhaust?

I ordered 1-7/8" stainless headers yesterday. Will also run exhaust cutouts then into an x-pipe section and then out the back. Probably 2.5". Haven't yet decided if its going to be 3" or not. I will do that after the engine/subframe are put back on the car. I also ordered the entire front drive for the engine yesterday. Holley mind mount black. Comes with all the brackets, balancer, pulleys, ac compressor, power steering pump etc. Was an expensive day yesterday.

Made a fair amount of progress this last month. I dialed in the engine and transmission centerness and installed the clutch and pressure plate. I installed the Holley front drive on the engine. Made some repairs to the firewall and replaced some cancer that was present on the lower front of the body. I also ordered the 3" exhaust and should order the new Quick Performance 9" rear diff this week.
