My newest bow is a 1999 or 2000 model Mathews Q2.

My DXT has become my backup bow twice in its lifetime. Last time it became the primary I put a better sight and rest on it. That was six years ago. It fits me perfectly and is the best bow I have ever had for pop up blind hunting. I doubt it ever becomes a backup again as long as it shoots.

I don't do much actual design anymore, that requires a pretty dang fast computer.
I mention to my boss, every now and then that I could use a newer, faster computer.
He says he matches the computers to the user's speed.

I think this applies to you and your bow!

When I first got into archery, I felt like I needed to buy a new bow every year. When I say new, I mean new, out of a shop. Now, my upgrades are used bows that are a few years old. My most recent upgrade ... which I bought from Tyak a few years ago, is a Mathews something or other, that was a few years old when he sold it. I don't shoot near as much as I used to, and now, having a jacked up elbow, I don't know if I'll even be able to shoot at all.
