Oh hell yeah that's awesome! Weather was gorgeous today too, great day to be out.

I didn't even get the boat out of storage, just spooled up some new reels & hung some new light fixtures for the wife.
Looks like I should have made a couple quick wades.

Did really good out in Surfside Saturday. Caught just about everything under the sun including a 6' gar. After a good 30 minutes fight and all the fish running through my head that could be on the end of it...wasn't expecting a gar to surface. After I was sure he didn't have anything left in him the plan was to net the head with our large net and then physically flip the rest of the body into the boat. Well there was nothing left of the net..completely destroyed, and the side of my boat and myself to a good beating before he got away, but we salvaged the rod and reel. Man it didn't go as planned at all.

May not be fishing but I’m enjoying hunting these. Just started doing it. Left the back door at 0430 this morning and sitting on couch at 0630.

Me & my son had a good trip this AM. I had 3 trout from 20 -23 in & 1 red I released that was 24 in. We also had 2 other good trout released & 1 other 21 in red. Good day for SW wind & low tide.
