I shot an old worn out bull last year and I was surprised by how good the meat was. I was thinking it would be tough and gamey so I had alot of it made into snack sticks, but next time most of it will be made into steaks.

Spent the day chasing gemsbok. After my wife got her oryx she gave me the green light on a gemsbok, one of my bucket list animals.

Congrats to your wife and good luck with a Gemsbok. I was fortunate enough to take one in December, and it’s some of the best meat I’ve cooked. It’s a hit at my house.
