Has TPWD EVER made changes due to public comments?

Many times. Being able to put in for multiple hunts in the same category, splitting the mule deer out of GDE, cubing points, etc.

Started applying in my 20s and 30s and just started getting drawn for some of the better hunts. I’m in my mid-50s now.

Need to draw exotic and then I’m pretty much starting all over again!

Hah! Similar boat - been married 7 years. When I drew GDE at Kerr and then two years later drew GDE Mule it seemed liked I got drawn all the time - never mind the 15 years of points.

I’ll be in again like last year. Might be a little more selective and have less expectations of being drawn but I still like the anticipation

Just less hunts, and way fewer tags per area, no Fairfield with the cluster mess tpw got it into If I didn't know any better I'd say they are slowly phasing the Texas draw hunts out of existence.
