Fried Cheese

Take a piece of white bread and cut the crust off. Smash the bread down and put a piece of string cheese in and wrap up. Melt some butter and garlic and coat the top of bread while laying in the basket. Darn good.

Anyone have a recipe for the fried okra halves ? Not the traditional chopped okra fried in cornmeal, but split lengthwise & battered in flour.

Im just seeing this. Let me ask my son he has mastered them.

My wife will air fry catfish with panko breadcrumbs. I'll need to get the recipe as I just searched her pinterest and can't find it.

I think to get the breadcrumbs to stick she uses mayonaise mixed with lemon juice to coat the fellet. Using the panko breadcrumbs to me makes it extra crispy.

I was too lazy to fire up the smoker Saturday so I did them in the air fryer and they came out good.
