This one might be. All depending on what he looks like body wise come October/November. It’s too hard to age them during the summer unless we have a known history. If it’s the buck I think it is he’s probably 5-6 yrs old, if that is correct he’ll get a pass til next year at minimum.

Has that buck had a 3rd main beam before? Im assuming not, alot of times those dont grow back.
We've had a buck with a third beam on that right side in 2019 and two of them in 2020 with a similar frame shape. Last year we only had one but his frame wasn't anything like this one. A lot of our mature bucks will disappear at 4-6 yrs old then show back up, which leads me to think its the bucks i'm thinking he is.
This is my best looking prospect. Can’t seem to match him up to any particular deer from the past 2 years. I’ve got several 7 pts or goofy racks that I might let my son squeeze the trigger on. There’s definitely some weird genetics floating g around for 7 pts.
