Just shot a good buck, arrow broke off in him, so i’m thinkin i got some kind of vitals for it to brake. Got bright red blood but barely a trail. Haven’t started lookin too hard yet, but would like some options if I need them.

4in to where it broke off and then there’s blood up the arrow another 5 so i’d say got 4-6in of penetration

Said they had good blood and were going to give it a little time and start looking and pass on the dog. I’d assume they’ve found him by now

With that little of penetration I would be afraid it was just front shoulder and no vitals. Maybe the broadhead got in far enough to continue to do damage as he moves. Hopefully he finds him and doesn’t mess up the trail if a dog is still needed.
Hoping for some LDP’s of a big Collin county monster.

Welp my dad called one of his buddies who lives close by and he had a dog, dog was young and not very helpful. Had really good blood for about 30 yards and then it just completely stopped. Searched a while just with lights and didn’t turn anything up. I’ll be headed out in the mornin to try and find him in the light
