Crawfish help...

Is there anything I can do to get rid of crawfish in my yard??? I have a little over 2 acres that is riddled with those little jokers!!!! The rest of the yard is fine, it is just the lower areas that hold the moisture. Mowing is hell!!! I spoke to my local pesticides guy and he didn't have an option.

How do you know they are female? How do you tell the males from the females? lol sorry I had to.

We used to put calcium carbide rocks down the holes and light the acetylene that comes out

Man that brings back memories!! Me n my dad used to do that when I was a kid!! He'd let me light 'em, then he'd throw a board on top and stand on it... BOOM!! Probably wasn't too safe, but it sure was fun!! Probably get put in jail today for doing something like that!
