Insane Sausages about a mile north of I-10 in Vinton has some of the best boudin I have found. Only open Friday-Sunday. The pepper jack boudin balls are ridiculous good!

Correct, My sister lives a mile from there. All locals go there.

During the week though, Market Basket. My kid just brought back my some jalepeno and pepperjack. All went straight to the grill then belly.

If you stop at in laws, I highly recommend the fried ribs.

As said above- Market Basket. I prefer the maplewood location in Sulphur. The smoked pepperjack is as good as it gets. Smoked hot good as well. Also their green onion and andouille sausage is worth filling an ice chest to bring home with you!

Holliers in Sulphur also has very good boudin.

Also grab a cup of gumbeaux and a shrimp po boy from Mr Bills seafood next to Mcneese. Have fun!

I'd skip Holliers boudin. Market Basket > Holliers.
