I'm more curious about how it ended up in your box blind than what species it is.... Do someone put it in there and if so who??..

Calf, tell by the femurs. Just wondering where the other set of ribs are? They don’t seem to be there. They don’t lay flat.

Don’t bring science into this. To the OP if you have any other photos, send them to me and I will send them to the anthropologist we use when people bring us non human remains. Looks like a calf but that’s why we send bones off. What’s the outside of the blind look like ?

This right here. No mystery, no prank.

Cattle arenít too bright, but they remember which fence opening they went through (a gate or a hole) and can use it to return to their original location. Calves, not so much.

I suspect this curious calf found himself in the blind and didnít know how to get out. Carrion feeders along with summerís unGodly high temps took care of the flesh.

No need to burn the blind if the bones are as dry as they appear to be. Just pick them up, throw them in a feed sack, and throw the feed sack away.

Take a close look at those rib bones. Now go to your best bbq joint and order a beef rib. Flat and wide. I want to say horse ribs are longer and thinner

Blind has no damage on the inside. Just thought I'd put it on here, figured you guys would know, something I have never seen or smelled, beside a bunch of owl's in a stand(the smell). No hair left inside. Driving us crazy as well. Don't think it's a prank. Pretty good observations, lol

Due to my very good detective skills I feel the need to comment here.

This is a blind that sits on the ground

The door was left open by someone

The the animal in question walked into blind thru open door

While snooping around inside it bumped into the door and it closed

The animal in question has no hands and failed to be able to open the door back up

Died from heat exhaustion and lack of water

No body so far has posted undeniable evidence as to what animal it is. Itís either a foal, calf or goat

Under the 2Ē of muck that is decomposed organs and meat.

If you look on the right side of the blind you can see the bottom plate of the wall exposed. If you look on the left side itís coverd with muck. I think the pic is deceiving.
