Oops. Clicked on the wrong thread. Supposed to be "fawn sightings"

Here's another 10pt that's a lot further along than our other bucks.

It’s nice to see what native deer can do if they are given time to age. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for yalls kind words! It definitely takes a lot of work from the entire family but we all really enjoy to seeing the property and the wildlife improve every year. Our neighbors have been grazing cattle all year/every year and their properties are really struggling with the lack of rainfall - basically just a dirt pasture with shrubs and trees. Our property doesn't look great but thankfully we have a lot of grass from the previous year and other cover since we haven't grazed cattle in well over a year. I've always heard people say to always plan for a drought and it totally makes sense. If you get good rainfall then you have an abundant amount of food for all the wildlife to flourish and if you are in a drought your animals will still have enough native forage to get through the year.

It's almost time to start conducting spotlight surveys!

We ended up getting just under 0.75-in of rain yesterday which was very unexpected.

                            Spartan Camera

We received the Spartan Go Live camera and built a DIY camera and solar panel holder out of some materials we had in our shop.

We are hoping to install the camera within the next week or so. I'll provide pictures as a comparison between this camera and the other cellular cameras we have around the ranch. Have a good one!
