    EZGo Cart Project pic heavy

    Here was my starting point

    Here it is Today.

Started with a 5" lift, wheels and tires
    Recovered the seats
meticulously went through all the linkages etc. to eliminate squeaks and rattles
Rubber isolated the bed for the same reason
Raptor liner with Summit Hot Rod Flat OD Green mixed in for the base coat
Rattle can camo job on the front body
(decided it wasn't worth the effort to do the rest of the cart)
Custom fab'd up the rear bumper and front rack rail
    Made a new shifter lever
Added lights, volt meter and USB charging port
Etched a plaque to replace the EZGo badge.

Not yet. When the batteries need replacing I may switch over to lithium.

I've been researching lithium batteries. The weight savings alone are incredible. Keep us up to date on the build

Art where did you get the seat material and what did you use? I have a cart that the rear seat needs to be recovered.

I just did a total rebuild of my cart and went lithium. Noticeable increase in performance and range.

Before it gets that “driven through Mesquite bush look”, I’m tempted to flip it for something that’ll make the 12 mile round trip to my buddies place.

Going lithium was the best thing I did for my cart.
It cost more than led acid batteries but the weight savings was well worth it.
