Everything went very smoothly. Now to start obliterating perfectly good meals so they will flow between his teeth!!

Correct. We followed Crash's advice and bought a waterpic.

Doc called today to check on him. My wife told him there had been no pain. He couldn't believe it. She told him he got up to keep playing after the impact but knew something was wrong when teeth didn't align. Doc said most people would be screaming in pain.

Something must be wrong with my kid? If he doesn't need all this liquid hydrocodone we have here, I might need a price check on the street value from some of you east Texas folks.

                        Thanks for the kind words.

Today is day 45 and the wires came off this morning! Doc is worried about the one tooth where the fracture went completely through the jaw. There may be a need for root canal if that thing sustained damage. He said the hygiene was impeccable as he sees patients lose teeth from this ordeal. All seems well and we are happy to have him back to normal. No one is happier than he is, I'm sure.

Time to fire up the smoker for ribs, fryer for wings and the grill for steak. While the young man maintained his weight by working his *** off with the blender and straw, he's ready for some REAL food.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I realize many people are battling more serious things, but it's good to know we all can look out for one another regardless.
