Have not posted for a while but here's one to celebrate:
Our youngest son, Jake, got the official word this morning.
Promoted to Sgt 1st Class. He's been in almost 9 years, did his deployments, then as a Drill Sgt at Ft Benning. He's now going to be a instructor in the Sniper Schools.
Mom and I are very proud of him and hope the future holds more of the same.
Pic is from graduation at Ft Benning years past (He's the one standing in front.) He even had a few TBH youngsters in his last 2 class's as a Drill Sgt who had seen some of my previous posts. Ya' never know........
