Great mount and awesome bear, he deserves to be out in the open. Put him in the corner, where the whitetail mounts are. It looks a little silly crammed in the closet, but I get your reasoning for it.

If your taxi can't help you out with a new base, there's a guy on FB by the name of John Bridges at Bridges Custom Woodwork. He does all sort of custom pedestals and what not. Maybe contact him, I bet he can help you out.

But, I will caution you that he doesn't meet promised dates on deliveries. So, be prepared for that to happen. But, you will get the product promised and it will be high quality.
