Kendall auto in the Heights. He works on my 66 mustang and is the only one I allow to raise the hood on it

Careful with that Mustang and adding power. Once they get over 300 HP, the Mustang emits a toxin that causes the owner to think he has more driving skills than he actually has.

Once that happens, the Mustang becomes a crowd seeking missile at any car show. It will do anything and everything to run over innocent bystanders, light poles, signs, other Mustangs. It's a known fault with Mustangs.

Seriously though, if you got the facebooks, go on there and do some searching for classic Mustang clubs in the area. I have a Hellcat, which helped me find Pietz Performance on there.

A buddy of mine had the rear end of his 67 rebuilt at Classic Mustangs of Houston on Bamwood Drive. He did a lot of the restoration himself but used Classic Mustangs for the things he couldn't do and said they did a great job.

Ya you really don't need a Mustang specialist to replace the heads on your engine. What are we talking 302, 351W, 351C...? Any good shop would be able to do it. No sure what part of Houston you are in but if you are close to Tomball I could give you a couple to call. I have used both on older cars and both did good work for reasonable cost.

Sorry I missed the end of this thread. Just catching up. Call Pete and Linda with Tomball Car Care Clinic. He does some newer stuff but always has classics in there for work. He rebuilt the linkage on the M21 in my 69 vette and rebuilt the Quadrajet on my 1968 SS 427 Impala.
