Looks loke a tooth, but you should put it in a sink of water to see any bubbles come up and if so it might be a geode (a geode is a rock with crysals inside)

Tried looking up snail fossils but none came up that look like this one. Looks like a tooth to me. I need to see if I can take it anywhere in the Austin area to have it checked out.
