Talk about some last minute boat repair, carb gasket went out the other day finally found one local this morning time to put it back on and fix the fuel leak, rewire the garmin, and test run the boat today so we can leave first thing in the morning!

The wife and her dad are doing on a croaker soaking trip out of Galveston in the morning so maybe they will have something to report.

Would anyone be interested in maybe putting together a wade trip say around August 6,7 or 8th?


I need to burn some vacation days along with running this new boat as much as possible.

I can handle 3 guys and me on a wade trip.

We caught a few. I’m hoping I’ll do better soon but seeing as you’re planning trips while I’m working I don’t guess I’ll have the summer lead in our house for long. [emoji23] I only got one pic of me with a fish and it’s a throw back, but it had been more than 10 years since I caught a red. Had fun and ready to do it more in MY new boat. [emoji6]
