    Ruger Reintroduces the Marlin 336

I really like the looks of this thing.

Our hunting editor shot the new Ruger-made Marlin 336 at the 2023 SHOT Show, and his first impressions are very positive.

If they are less than what a JM stamped Marlin is, I might just have to get one.

Saw in the article it says the 1894 is also coming out!

That's actually fair for a quality lever gun these days. Let's hope this pans out.

About time. Always been a marlin fan. Just not a fan of the big bore henrys.

I read that you can unload the new Ruger version by simply depressing the loading latch and the bullets will come out. I like that feature versus cycling the lever and chambering each round to get them out.

I’ve been debating on picking up a JM Marlin, buying a Henry or waiting on the 336.

Looks promising! I might try to pick one up once they come out and that initial demand drops.

Thats a great looking rifle, but the story of the guy shooting the 196" buck while dropping a deuce is more intriguing!!
