    Age on cull buck

Have this buck on camera, looks like an old warrior. How old do y’all think he is? Hunting in Sonora if it makes a difference in terms of his body size.

He’s old and would be a trophy in my opinion . 7-9 year old deer are hard to kill with a bow . No matter how many points they have . To many shows on TV talking about Culls . How do you manage genetics when you don’t determine which deer get to breed . 7+ years or longer he may have never sired a fawn on your ranch . Trophy sounds so much better than Cull . I hope you get him .post pics

That's an old warrior. Would be a great trophy to take. I love old culls. The euro would be nice.

Dang it all... Y'all remember now we don't "cull" no more! We "skim" 'em out... And OP, that sir is a TROPHY in anyone's book especially if taken with a bow... A mature/post mature buck is a worthy target for anyone and few get the opportunity to shoot one with a bow! Good luck getting that sucker!
