Weather w/ much rain

I live north of Lufkin close to Sam Rayburn and just emptie my rain gauge. It topped out at 5.5”. In the last eight days here I have had 12.5”. Electricity was out about 12 hours but it’s back on now. Thanks again generac. It has been some crazy weather this year so far.

That storm that hit yesterday was about as severe of a storm as I have ever seen. Crazy high winds, torrential rain, and marble to penny size hail. It was bad. Lost power for an hour or so

We had 7.5 inches last week, but its already drying up

I'm between Nac and Lufkin. 13.65" for me in the last 10 days. 7.45" yesterday eve/last night

****! I've fished Rayburn once,when it was flooded.I've never seen as many snakes on the water in my life.Honestly,I think I saw more snakes that weekend than I have in my entire life,total!
