    Milam Co Thanksgiving Hunt.

My son and I hunted from Monday to Wed. Dodged a lot of rain. Then it got hot. Strange year. Starting to see some bucks chasing. Saw a couple of nice bucks but being strictly a bow guy you sometimes you just sit and watch the show from a far.

Tuesday morning one of our target cull bucks came in and gave me a 20 yard shot. Trying G5 Meagameat broad heads for the first time. Made a good shot to the pump house. Deer ran exactly 29 yards from the stand, watched him fall. TREMENDOUS blood trail, though not needed.

    Happy Thanksgiving all!

    Nice. Congrats!
That Megameat is a bad dude. It’s one of my favorite broadheads now.

I keep looking at those MegaMeats! Hard to leave these Trocars though.

So far I’m impressed with the Megameats. I shot their practice point out to 40 yards and it flew just like my field points. The blood trail was impressive but again it was a good shot, low and through the heart.
