As much as you want it to dry out, and I too hate hunting in that mess, that area needs all the precipitation it can get, and then some more. Hang in there and stick something!

Les arrived yesterday afternoon. He and I set up a 30 A outlet at camp for my new camper. It’s been too wet to bring it in to the lease, but I was fortunate to snag a last minute cancellation at Blanco Stare Park from Saturday until this morning. I reserved another site for today, just in case , but I’m going to attempt to bring it to the lease and get it set up for the rest of the weekend.

Meanwhile, I’m back in the elbow this morning for a short sit before loading up the camper.

Yep, I’ve told everybody that will listen that I won’t complain (too much) about the rain. It’s just going to be really inconvenient when my entire herd arrives for the weekend!

Foggy morning. Wind has shifted from earlier in the week. Probably more favorable for natural travel routes.

I’ve been really tempted to give tree saddle hunting a go out here.
