Skylights - TBH brain trust

So I was up in the roof the other day and noticed my skylight has cracks in it.

How hard is it to replace these?

I was looking at skylight depo and hopefully its as easy as ordering a new dome and using the existing frame to replace.

My father in law replaced his probably 15 years ago and he acted like it was fairly easy process. Think it was pull one end off and slide it out and slid the other one in
