    charging 12v feeder batteries

Anybody take 12v feeder batteries home to recharge? If so, what do you use that is reliable. I have bought probably a half dozen of the chargers that you plug into 110 at home and hook up but have never had one that appears to want to charge. Really frustrating.

Exact same issue. I buy most of my chargers at Academy. All chargers are probably made by the same company but I’m done with anything that is Academy store brand

        charging 12v feeder batteries

Got tired of the cheap plugins and bought a small charger for the lease cabin. I have a Schumacher version of this charger which I love, but I have buddies who run this Amazon copy of it. … reviews are great as well. The Schumacher used to be $25 but is now in the $40s if you can find it. Perfect for small feeder batteries and doesn’t take up a bunch of room.

        Found the Schumacher

3rd vote for the small car battery charger.

Why would you use anything other than a car battery charger? A little thing probably ain’t gonna get it done.

I use these... They are cheap and have worked great for me for several years now.

I use an older version of this guy. It comes with multiple attachments that can work on a deer feeder battery. Has always worked great for me.

Have been using this for the past couple years and like it so far. Have been able to save some batteries with the forced mode, that wouldn't take a charge with other chargers.

I guess I've been lucky with the Academy chargers. I have a 12v and 6v charger and never had any issues. I have the 12v on my atv sprayer battery now and it started red and is now green.

The biggest problem I’ve had with the cheap Walmart/Academy type chargers is the lights that supposedly tell you about the charge. They don’t work very long. Battery chargers are no good unless you can monitor the charge.
