The bucks were chasing some last night in NW Irion. I passed the buck I thought would be my target shooter because I couldn't get him past 5yo, and feel the horns are down this year. I had my 3yo hunting buddy in the blind with me, and he was doing his best to talk me into shooting.
Low 140's wide 10 w/ long brow tines...

I've now passed two 140+ deer this year that I have at 5. I need to get them bullet proof vests...

My ole pappy said that deer had him shaking like he was a kid again. Those are the hunts I think most of us live for!

I’m about 3 miles S of the river. I doubt I have many deer make it all the way from the Concho - but ya never know.
I’m still waiting to see an axis though.
