Anyone else seeing rut activity around?
They are chasing does like crazy by my house.

We are right outside of Bertram and have seen no such activity but I do t live out there so I pretty much only see weekends

I'm not entirely sure if you're serious or not.....

But if you are it would be an anomaly for the rut to be going
on right now in Burnet. Timing is off by around 3 months for the usual rut time frame for that area. Either way I'm in for the discussion.

Bucks here aren’t chasing does, but a few have split off their bachelor groups and are hanging out with groups of does. Fully 2 months early for our rut.

I am in Burnet county, while i have not seen any of the rut activity described by the OP, I do believe that at any point after bucks shed antlers if a doe goes in cycle she will be chased...maybe i am wrong. I have seen some late april/ early may fawns here, before, though only a couple times. Hunted this county my whole life, with so many does to breed life gets rough for those poor bucks!

There is no rutting activity. Young bucks shedding velvet and sparring. Nothing more. 3rd weekend of October it starts 2nd weekend of Nov peaks. Halloween weekend is the best
