Very nice place, stop by there a few times, good bbq and cold beer, have gotten pretty good landing that ring on the tree

You must be right near or on the place the pipeline crosses? A buddy of mine owns that place. Great deer. And six miles as a crow flies from our place.

I've driven by it numerous times, never stopped. My grandmother was a Leifeste and was born and raised in Castell on the Llano river. Both of my grandparents are buried in the cemetery at the Methodist Church in Castell. Sounds like I need to make a trip out that way this fall.

Yes sir. We do a lot of varmint hunting in that area.

Stopped in there on our way into town from a day lease. Didn’t know the food was good or we would have tried it. We were on our way to coopers. The food was the best part of the weekend cause day lease hunting was terrible.

Famous Rooster is now mounted and on display in the store. Haven't been in several yrs. Need to go back soon, just 30-40 minutes from the house.

Yes sir the died the year prior to our I st visit to Castell.
