I just looked at a ton of them last week
By comparison He looks old to me. I don’t like the velvet racks, but I would have taken that one.
I’ve only killed two so but he looks delicious to me.

It'd be hard for me to pass on that one. Especially seeing the picture of him walking away.

Jeez louise! How'd you let that walk?
A good axis like that one which braved the big freeze is no doubt a trophy and a good eater.
Hope you get him. Do NOT let him walk again

He is old. Left side really good. good beam, front & cottle. Right side weak. tines don't break off in velvet, he looks like he is heavier on the front and broomed off for some reason, Weak cottle. Personally, I would wait for him to get out of velvet so I could get a better look or pass on him completely.

I would let him roll another year. I'm not sure I agree with 35 & 36 though he is for sure big but I would put him closer to 32-34" range. Where in RS are you?

Yes Sir that’s why I passed on him! I’ve been very very blessed and have seen better but let them walk also- that’s why we have deer like these!

We are seeing quite a few break offs in RS while in Velvet from the freeze.

Dang. There's no way I would have let that one get away.
