Not sure if has been posted but we got a top spinning can opener and it is AWESOME, it leaves no sharp edge on the lid when removed. Had it about 3 years and no complaint and not once has it slipped off or not cut on the first rotation.

We have a red one, except at the deer lease, that one is white. I never gave as much thought to a can opener in my life as I have this morning...

We just got a new electric one that cuts on the side of the can instead of the top. It works real good, and no more sharp edges to cut yourself on!!!!

My wife bought a manual pampered chef one that does same thing at least 10 or 15 years ago. It’s still going strong.

I got an OXO Smooth Edge Can Opener when I was in college 11 years ago and we still use it around the house today!

I have Swing Away. They are made in the USA. I don’t even have an electric can opener.

I had the same problem, bought this about 5 years ago and haven't given can openers a second thought since. But dear Jesus I think I of $30 for mine. They're wanting 300 for them now. It mounts under your upper cabinets out of the way.

We've got a Pampered chef one that I really like. It's opened thousands of cans and still works good as new. The way it works, you can put the lid back on the can if you need to as well. My wife is not crazy about it because it's manual. She likes the lektrik ones...

ANYTHING Pampered Chef is pretty awesome!
