BTW, thank you Gigem95 for all y’all’s assistance this morning!

Glad to help! Sorry the weather didn’t cooperate.

Continue to love watching the SkipJack posts on TBH and Insta. I didn't expect to find myself wanting a flats skiff so badly after watching this process! Congrats on the run today.

Thank you and I completely understand. I thought it would be a one and done but I’m already planning the next build!

When I went to school there, there wasn't anything like this place! You kids are spoiled!

So what's the verdict? How did she run?

I am still experimenting with props and believe a 9 1/4x9 or 9 1/4x10 is going to get me to where I want to be. The 10x10 NOS Michigan bogged her down too much and I couldn’t get into the power band so I just cut it down to 9 1/4x10. If it works I’ll take it to a prop shop to get cleaned up and if not I’ll put it back on the shelf to collect dust.

I hope it works out like you want.

Salt boat works has a page on Facebook for builders too. Bunch of guys sharing their tips and tricks for the builds. A lot of cool stuff on there.
