Back porch ceiling fans

This. We have 2 of them (72” & 96”) and they will move some air.

There is a minimum mounting height on them so be aware. Our 96” is mounted at about 8’ and it doesn’t feel like it moves near as much air as the 72” that’s mounted at 14’.

Whatever you decide to get make sure you don’t get the wood (sawdust) or “polymer” blades or they will be dropping badly in the first summer. The Craftmade Collosus has aluminum blades.

Unfortunately they don’t offer the 72” any longer and the model they do make in 72” doesn’t put out near the cfm.

Call me crazy but I’m seriously considering ordering a 96” with the intention of shortening the aluminum blades...

I put one BA Fan to replace two conventional fans on my back patio. it works!

We have the Minka Aire Extreme H2O on our back porch and they are really nice. It is an aluminum structure so you don't have to worry about the blades drooping. They come in 65" or 84" really quiet and move alot of air.

Can you give a part number? Website shows only the 96” Colossus and when I messaged they verified the 72” had been discontinued

I bought a Craftmade Collosus 60 inch off their web site. I am putting it on my breezeway between the house and garage. 7ft X 10 ft
Should keep the flies and misquitoes away from the doors......................
