It looks way better since I’ve peeled off all the plastic wrap stuff. I’ll get more pictures next time.

I put some of that outdoor carpet over the wood floor in mine. Nice and quiet

Rubber stall mat works the best on sound

Well today I was walking around Lowe’s and found the perfect rubber mats! About 3/8” thick and they had a 4’x6’ Mat as well as a 3’x2’ that was the exact same pattern so it worked out perfect! Bought 1 big one and 2 of the smaller ones turned them upside down so there would be nothing for the chair legs to get caught on.

Also went ahead while I was there and attached my porch and stairs. The ladder didn’t seem safe to try to scale the side of the wall while trying to reach overhead for the door handle (that I haven’t installed yet). For now I have a 2x4 for support under the porch but that will change to 2 pieces of angle attached at the 2 outer corners of the porch running down to the cross member toward the bottom of the legs.

                Thanks man.
It’s a slow and steady build for sure. Still have to insulate, seal, and install the door latch from deerview

That looks great. Howd you fasten the skin?

To get the sheets where I wanted them I used a strip of silicone down the square tubing followed by a few C-clamps. Then just color matched 3/8 self tapping screws.

Thanks bud. Finally got the door handle installed a couple weeks ago to be able to lock it up.

Very nice, what size/thickness is the frame of the blind?

I used 2” angle for the base. The blind skeleton is 1” square tubing.

Thanks! After hunting in it a few times I do think that if I were to build another I would make the windows 12” X 24”
