I had to make one in the oven yesterday as my electric smoker wouldn’t allow me to set time or temp so no smoke. However, the one in the oven turned out exceptionally well and had great flavor minus the smoke. Sometimes we have to improvise! The pork loin turned out good as well.
It’s ok bud. My wife can’t figure out how to light a charcoal fire yet either.

Nothing wrong with an oven brisket- wife marinates one for a few days in soy sauce and lemon juice then cooks at 275 for 45 min per pound. I was very skeptical but dang that sucker comes out perfect every time lol
Still love the smoker but I will give credit where due
