    Need gunsmith barrel threaded dfw

I have a ruger 77/44 that I'd like to surpress, but the barrel that came from factory is short and has iron sights. I don't know if it can even be threaded and remain suitable.

Any fort worth area gunsmith here want to give it a go or swap the barrel for me?

    Thanks

Morgan at Class 3 Machining. He’s done 4 for me and all perfect.

            Alamo no response again
Morgan offers service by mail only if stripped to barreled action only.

Morgan will only do it if the barrel has been removed from action.

                    Is that a recent change?

I’ve had him thread several and on bolt guns I only had to remove it from the stock and take off the bolt & trigger.

He also did an M&P 22 and a Rossi 357 lever gun and I never removed those barrels.

Maybe he will I know he told me this week every thing has to be removed from barrel so I’m not sure if that is action too.

I would clarify with him. Anything that can come off and get lost or keep him from chucking it up in his lathe is what he would need removed.

Bump on this. Anyone have anywhere in the DFW area to drop gun off to get threaded?
