Wife and kids went over spring break and had no issues. The park was only letting in 35% of normal capacity. Due to the low gate entrance there were no fast passes for any of the guests. Menus were somewhat limited but they had a good time. Masks were required but they didn’t have any issues and it certainly doesn’t sound as bad as Vegas does.

We were there right as march madness was kicking off and it went from not too crowded to pretty packed seemingly overnight.

We never had to wait at an elevator especially in the casino, but we did have to mill about smartly in the line for the high roller even with the no waiting tickets.

I totally agree that this version of Vegas is a shell of what Vegas used to be and I also will probably never go back. I can lose more than enough money within an hour of my house.
      Have heard this exactly

Wow! I'm sorry your anniversary plans were ruined.

I would not go to Disney - go to Dollyworld - Pigeon Forge instead. Disney supports communism and is partnered with China.

All I can tell is this ...... do not do it. The place is a total mess.

The hotels are 100% booked to capacity but they do not have the staff in place to handle a full house. Restaurants are short handed so you cannot get into a place even to eat breakfast unless you have a reservation. Lines are out the door to get a cup of coffee. The pools at the hotels are limiting the number of people who can enter so you may be booked in a world class hotel paying world class dollars but you or your family cannot get to the pool. There were families waiting at the pool entrance for several hours in hopes they could just get into the pool - ridiculous for sure

and as a side note - I can afford nice trips. However I do not appreciate getting ripped off. Prices in Vegas are silly. Ten bucks for one Corona - breakfast will run you $50-60 for you and your wife - no thank you. And if you were wondering - they are mask Nazis - when at a bar or restaurant you have to leave your mask on, lower it to take a drink or bite and then put it back on. If you don't then the waiters or managers come let you know.

So my guess it that it only gets worse during the summer months as pent up demand increases. What a waste of money for our trip -

Yep this is exactly what we dealt with back around New Years time totally
It will be a minute before we go back.

This is no joke. I probably would've failed a drug test just from the walk between Planet Hollywood and Caesars.

I haven't been in 2 years...why all of a sudden all the "rough" crowds in Vegas?

I echo this statement. 44 years is amazing! Congrats and I wish y’all many more.

Welp, the wife and I have a trip to Vegas booked for July. It's one of our good friends milestone birthdays and she wanted to do a Vegas trip. Hopefully some of the craziness dies down by then.

That's one place I've never had a desire to go.

In light of this thread, you should start making your eating reservations now. Hopefully it works out for you guys.

Was just there this past weekend and things were very normal down on Fremont. We did have to "wear" the mask walking around and in the casinos but other than that we had a great time. Some of the tables were limited to 3 people at a time and others with barriers in place could have more at the table. The casinos were packed and the restaurants down there were open. Got a chance to check out the new Stadium Swim at Cirque...amazing.

We took a spur of the moment Vegas trip a couple of weeks ago... yes it was crowded, and yes we ran into some mask nazis...

The trip will be as good as you wanna make it... yes the masks suck, and the smell weed is everywhere... but we had a great time regardless.

Get tickets now for any shows/attractions and any dinner reservations
